Here, in Busteni, we have the newest & coolest cable transport system in all south-eastern Europe. To be precise, the Kalinderu funicular. It goes 1050 m, carrying 1200 people / hour.

The Kalinderu Ski Track has a snow system, with four cannons to assure optimum skiing conditions, even when it's not snowing (but it's cold :) ), right at the start of the season.
